Yeah, Ubuntu!
I was reading ESR’s (that’s Eric S. Raymond to you) excellent article “How to Become a Hacker” (if that alarms you, please Google “hacking vs. cracking”.)
Programming insights aside, how’s this for a line?
During the first ten years of this HOWTO’s life, I reported that from a new user’s point of view, all Linux distributions are almost equivalent. But in 2006-2007, an actual best choice emerged: Ubuntu. While other distros have their own areas of strength, Ubuntu is far and away the most accessible to Linux newbies.
Yeah, Ubuntu!

Where are you getting the Gaelic guidance? (other than the dictionary) How do you know you have a phrase right? Is HW in contact?

Well, I have Google set to Gaelic, and the “Search!” button is actually “Rannsaich le Google” So put in inntinn as the direct object, and mo as the pronoun, and I feel like it should work…

Is learning Ubuntu also hard for a Linux newbie like me?

Yes Ubuntu is a bit hard for newbies. Although you can find some tutorials online, it shouldn’t be that hard if you have backgrounds about these stuff.
